Such a lovely and rare spinning fob with carnelian and bloodstone set in 9 carat rose gold with a full Chester hallmark. This one dates from 1920 and is a lovely shade of rose gold . Fully hallmarked with the Chester assay office, date letter U for 1920 the pendant weighs 9.2 grams. It is also hallmarked on the ring.
The pendant measures 24mm in width, drops 34mm when worn and the design incorporates a chain link across the top of the cabochon gemstones, which are held in collet settings.
The stones are suspended between two gold pins and spin to show either the carnelian or the bloodstone. It is in very good antique condition with minor wear to the surface edges shown in the photos.
