An elegant, eye catching belle epoque period Emerald and Diamond 18 carat gold ring. This gorgeous ring dates to C.1900 and is set with an emerald cut gemstone and 4 bright old cut diamonds.
 
The Emerald is in very good antique condition, with just very minor surface wear that can be seen on inspection with a loupe. It is wonderful and vibrant with some very small jardin inclusions.
 
The head of the ring holds the gemstones in a twist claw setting. It is quite a dainty ring at a weight of 2.2 grams and would make a lovely vintage dress ring or engagement ring, if worn with care.
