A rare and stunning post Edwardian to early Art Deco opal necklace, with graduated spheres and an antique gold ring bolt fastener. Between the opals there are graduated rock crystal gemstones which add a lovely sparkle.
 
The opals are beautiful with a white base and very good flashes of full spectrum colour, including red, green, blue and orange. Some of the opals have natural brown inclusions.
 
In lovely antique condition with the original stringing, there is a chip to the back of one of the opal spheres to the left of the centre opal. Please check the photographs carefully to see the condition. This can be worn turned round the back, so doesnt spoil the look of the necklace in any way.
