We have a very rare find here with an impressive 1910-20’s antique pearl, double row graduated cultured pearl necklace, in excellent antique condition.
The necklace has a striking 11mm diameter gold and silver clasp, set with rose cut diamonds and a single pearl. With its crimped collet setting, the clasp is a little earlier than the pearls, more likely Victorian.
The pearls are gently graduated and the stringing is in good condition with knots and a fitted safety chain. The nacre is in excellent condition with no damage, and the slightly baroque pearls have a great deal of character with a high lustre. The necklace is just beautiful and a soft white to cream in colour with gold and pink overtones.
It would be perfect for a special birthday, wedding outfit, or evening wear.
