The main centrepiece of this stunning ring is an early Georgian red faceted paste and seed pearl head. This has been combined during the Victorian era, with an ornately engraved band hallmarked for 1869.
The head is closed back and sits on a slight curve to hug the finger when worn. The pearls are set with a crimped colett edge, and paste has s fine detailed rope border.
The ring is in excellent condition, but one pearl is a replacement. The band is substantial and comfortable to wear.
