A very pretty and rare late Georgian era diamond set heart locket pendant. The locket is suspended from a ring with a four chain drop, and is set with a forget me knot flower composed of six old cut diamonds in a silver crimped collet settings.
 
The locket is engraved on both sides with forget me knot flowers and acanthus leaves. The engraving remains crisp and beautifully detailed.
 
The locket opens and closes well, and has empty space inside. It could be fitted with photographs or another memento. It is in excellent overall condition, ready to hang on a chain, it would work well clipped into a dog clip or split ring.
 
It is a beautiful piece, not often seen in this condition.
