A stunning early Edwardian antique solitaire, buttercup set old cushion cut diamond ring in 18 carat yellow gold. 
The head of the ring holds a sparkly old cushion cut diamond. The diamond is in good condition, an excellent quality stone of good clarity and bright colour.
The head of the ring spreads over 13x8mm, tapering to 2mm at the back. The profile of the ring is curved and is very comfortably on the finger, sitting 5mm high. There are 8 claws that hold the diamond firmly with some engraved detail to the shoulders.
The condition is excellent with only minor age related wear to the band
