A beautiful diamond and sapphire 18 carat yellow gold 5 stone ring, with old cut diamonds and mid blue sapphires. This gorgeous ring is Edwardian and has a full clear UK hallmark for Birmingham assay office, 18 carat gold, date letter Q for 1911 and makers mark number 49.
 
It consists of a central 3mm sapphire, two very bright 2mm old cut diamonds, and two further 2mm sapphires either side of this. The setting is very pretty with slim shoulders and scalloped edges forming a classic boat shape ring. There is a lovely rich colour to the gold. The head of the ring measures 15mm across, is 6mm in width and sits 4mm above the finger when worn.
