A bright and cheerful statement ring! This Pave Turquoise Bombe ring is an amalgamation of antique parts. The head of the ring dates to the late victorian era, with all the Turquoise set in silver and backed in 18ct Gold. It may have started life as a brooch or button. This has then at some point, probably post 1920 had an 18ct Gold shank added to create the ring we see now. It is stamped '750' behind the head of the ring, for the purity of the Gold and has also been tested my our goldsmith.
The head of the ring measures 19x15mm and sits 5mm high off the finger, although with the curved profile it wraps over the finger very nicely. The band is 5mm wide the entire way round the shank.
The central Diamond is an old cut stone which measures 3mm in diameter and is eye clean with a bright appearance and wonderful character in the sunlight. This is set in the centre of 36 Turquoise which measure between 1-2.5mm and have a beautiful variation in colour from age.
This ring could be sized within reason by a competent jeweller.
