A very pretty Victorian locket with a swallows and forget me knots to the front and back. This closes well and has the original fitted photographs inside of a wonderful gentleman in uniform. 
It is 9ct Gold back & front, which means that the entire front and back panels of the locket are gold to allow for the beautiful detailed engraving, but for strength the rim and hinge are made from gold toned base metal.
