A stunning antique amethyst riviere necklace this dates to the mid victorian era, with 26 natural amethyst gemstones in open back settings. They are all the most gorgeous purple tone, with a truly vibrant colour to them and remain in excellent antique condition with no chips.
 
The clasp itself is an antique tongue design set with a smaller amethyst.
 
The whole piece is created in silver gilt, which remains in remarkably good condition and enables us to offer this necklace at an affordable price, compared to its solid gold counterparts.
