A stunning late Victorian antique emerald, old cut diamond navette shape brooch. It has been assessed by the Gem & Pearl laboratory, certifying that the central stone is a Natural Colombian Emerald with only minor enhancement.
 
The centre stone is a beautiful emerald cut, Colombian Emerald, with only minor evidence of clarity enhancement. The centre Emerald measures approximately 5x4.5mm, giving a weight of approximately 0.8-0.9 carats. The colour is an excellent vivid green with a good clarity, and only extremely minor wear to table and facet edges seen with a loupe. The rest of the emeralds originate from a mixture of Brazil, Zambia and Colombia. 
It is beautiful as a brooch, but could also be converted into a stunning drop pendant should you wish. Please message if you would like this done.
