Antique Victorian faceted garnet link bracelet 9 Carat gold

An exquisite late Victorian gold, garnet bracelet. Made of 9 carat gold, with a high carat flashing, this beautiful piece of jewellery dates to the later Victorian era. The bracelet is set with nine oval faceted garnet gemstones securely held in claw settings.
 
The bracelet is beautifully articulated, within a curb and engraved link design chain finished with a barrel clip fastening. The garnet gemstones are well matched in colour, and a mid red shade with a lovely glow. There is some minor wear appropriate to age, and one garnet has a shallow chip along a facet edge, I have photographed this clearly for you, although I must say it doesn't really notice when worn, as the facets dance in the light anyway.
