We have here a stunning and rare Victorian 15 carat yellow gold heart lock and key bangle. The bangle is polished gold with an integral clip clasp and a round profile.
The bangle with its woven knot design, heart padlock and key on a chain would have been a a very romantic symbol in Victorian language of love.
It is marked 15ct for 15 carat gold on the back of the heart, and has been confirmed as this by our goldsmith.
The bangle is in excellent condition for its age, and fastens firmly with a push in clip clasp.
