A stunning victorian era gold nugget shaker locket pendant. This contains numerous high carat gold nuggets, set into a substantial clear crystal and gold mounted pendant. The nuggets float freely inside the locket, it is sealed shut and cannot be opened.
 
During this era, when more people were travelling the world, pieces such as this would likely have been brought back as souvenirs. It is possible that the gold panning was done by the individual themselves!
 
It is a beautiful piece, very tactile, in very good condition and a lovely piece of history.
