A rare and stunning mid Victorian circa 1850-60 amethyst and pearl 9 carat gold pendant created from a brooch conversion. This exquisite piece of jewellery is mid Victorian era, and our goldsmith/gemmologist has assessed this piece and confirmed the gold and the gemstones. It is set in 9 carat yellow gold, tested and confirmed and is unmarked. The pendant measures 28 by 15mm and drops to 35mm with the loop, weighing a total of 5.5 grams. The centre is a beautiful, 3 carat amethyst that measures 20 by 7mm, 5mm deep and set in a bezel edge.
 
Surrounding this are 20 white with gold overtone natural pearls in good condition that measure 3mm in diameter and are crimped collet set. The pendant is open backed and we have removed the brooch pin and added a gold matched loop ready to wear on a chain.
