A very pretty Victorian  ruby heart ring, surrounded by plump pearls and with a 15 carat gold shank.
 
The heart is open backed for the light to shine through, and the pearls are fairly white in colour and well matched with a good lustre. The band has a full hallmark with a rare kite registration mark.
