A stunning antique Edwardian sapphire and old cushion cut diamond double snake ring. Such a lovely ring, hallmarked for Chester but the date mark is too rubbed to decipher. The inside of the shank has been polished at some point in its history and also reinforced under the head with another band, which makes it comfortable to wear.
 
The sapphire is a beautiful mid blue colour, and there is a bright and lively old cushion cut diamond. The snakes have the cutest faces with gold boggle eyes and tail detail.
 
The ring is lovely antique condition, with a triple band formed from the snakes bodies.
