Antique Victorian turquoise star torpedo drop earrings

These lovely earrings date from the 1860’s and consist of a gold star set with a beautiful blue cabochon turquoise. Suspended from this is a long torpedo polished drop, articulated at the join for movement.
 
They are suspended from gold hooks, and are a rich colour due due to the high carat gold heavy flash coating.
 
They are beautifully made in great condition and a really pretty pair of earrings.
