A beautiful and exceptionally rare hallmarked 12 carat gold buckle ring, set with two bright and well matched turquoise gemstones.
The band is smooth and substantial, with a bevelled edge that is comfortable to wear. An adorable ring, dating to the mid Victorian era. It is in excellent antique condition.
The use of the turquoise gemstones and buckle motif together would suggest to me, that this was a gift between friends or lovers.
