A lovely late Victorian natural pearl necklace with a pearl set star pendant drop. Set in 9 carat gold, unmarked but confirmed by our Goldsmith. It is set with 44 pearls that measure from .5-3mm in size, and the star pendant is articulated so that it sits well when worn. The chain is substantial and measures 3mm in width.
 
We have carried out some minor restoration on this pretty necklace, replacing the missing clasp with a new gold ring bolt and replacing two tiny missing pearls. There is an old small repair to one of the chain sections.
 
In very good antique condition, this is now ready to wear.
