Vintage plain polished signet ring Chester hallmark 9 carat gold

This is a fine, vintage 9 carat yellow gold signet ring with a squared panel and beautiful shaped shoulders. It is a substantial ring with a generous use of gold, and has been polished.
 
It has a solid top panel that could be engraved if wanted, and the ring is suitable for men and ladies.
 
The head of the ring with the shield measures 11 x 10mm and tapers to 3mm at the rear of the ring.
